The Group commenced operation in 1969, when Sri Lanka was first being discovered as a tourist destination. Since then the Group has developed into one of Sri Lanka 's leading companies and specialist in the hospitality industry.

Over the past few years, the Group has further diversified with the take over of a tea plantation, a chain of fast food restaurants, setting up of a management school and the development of an overseas hotel project.

Our connection with the local community helps us provide our guests with memorable holiday experiences. At Riverina Beach Hotel we support the employment of the local youth from the Beruwala region. This provides a more authentic and personal experience for visitors. We've also created environmental plan to minimize use of natural resources, electricity and water consumption, and reduce waste generated.
