A Sri Lanka Tourist Board approved Resort Guest House, Terrena Lodge is situated in Aluthgama in a picturesque setting over looking the Bentota River. Repeat visitors, and frequent comments like "Just an absolutely brilliant stay, wonderful staff, food, service and a beautiful setting we couldn't have asked for more" in the Guest Book, says it all. Visitors to the Hotel will find young newcomers to the trade working alongside seasoned senior staff, gaining 'hands on' experience of the hospitality trade.
The Hotel is run by long standing staff members who take pride in their work, and are committed to training local youth to take on jobs in the service industry.
This small and beautiful guest house has just five rooms. Located on the waterfront, the view of the river from the restaurant is exceptional. Renowned for serving delicious meals - both eastern and western - the restaurant is also licensed to serve foreign and local liquor. A special recreation on offer is the Catamaran (paddle boat) rides to the famous mangroves of Bentota followed by an excursion to the 800 year old Wanawasala Buddhist temple.
